Here is the one I have been looking at. WHY | Official website It just seems like a lot of money for something that you would use only few times a year.

A privacy policy is so standard for websites these days (if you collect subscriber info.)

I do use privacy policies on my sites, but my attorney recommended that I do not use them. In the USA you are bound by the privacy policy that you post and can be sued for violations of your own policy.

If you are going to use a privacy policy, word it carefully.

    Model Privacy Policy:
Anything you post on our site or enter into our database is going on a URL that begins with WWW.
If you think it's private, look up what WWW means.
    ~ Thank You

That 's your basic, "there is no privacy on the web, get used to it" policy.

How about loose Privacy Policy wording such as: "We aim to achieve the following goals in terms of a privacy policy: ..."? So that you don't guarantee anything. If you fall short of the goals, then you can try harder next time.

That sounds like the US government version of a privacy policy.

You need to set up a LLC (Limited Liability Company) to isolate yourself from being sued personally.

Anyone that wants to sue me personally needs to look up the term "deficiency judgment".

So how is the Adsense revenue coming along? Paying the domain renewal fee yet?
