Adsense plugin for Wordpress

Watch out that your script/plugin doesn't display too many Adsense units on the home page to break AS terms of use rules. It used to be 3 max Ad units that were allowed but please check.

The All-in-One AdSense and YPN plugin seems to respect this rule pretty well. In its settings, you can choose a maximum of (0) 1, 2, or 3 ads per page.

In any case, I thought that if you insert the code for more than 3 AdSense blocks into any webpage, the Google AdSense javascript thing will detect that, and then they will only actually populate (fill) three of the blocks with adverts (?). However, it's probably not a good idea to rely on that...

It will detect it and your last ad unit will be empty.
