Google has finally revealed the details of the revenue share of Adsense for content and for Search.

Apparently, the publisher gets 68% of the revenue with Adsense for content, and gets 51% of the revenue with Adsense for search.

Google also says that the percentage has never changed since launch for Adsense for content in 2003, and since 2005 for Adsense for search (when the increased it).

This level of transparency is really refreshing and is very much unlike Google. I think this change in behaviour is a direct result of increased competition and G realising that they can't bully publishers anymore.
