Thread: Adsense is slowing down pages since a few days..

  1. #11
It's good that we're not the only one, although this really sucks.. When the ads are from DoubleClick.net, it all goes fast, but when it's on googleservices.com (or something similar, I forgot the domain) the ads are killing the speed of the site.

Let's hope Google fixes this issue, instead of telling the Firefox users: "You should use Chrome and you won't have this issue anymore"

Well since it's posted on the forum, I guess Google will give an answer over 7 months, and the problem should be solved 3 months after that But let's just hope it all gets solved faster

I wouldn't blame Google this time; ads run at full speed in Opera, IE, Safari and Chrome, so I guess FF is the culprit (yet again).

It looks like today everything is running smoothly.
    How's it at your end?

*Turns AdBlock Plus off, and is checking it out*

I'll let you know in a few hours, if the pages go faster again

  5. Hey Aquarezz, have you upgraded to Firefox 3.5 yet? It's supposed to be faster...

The problem is with most plugins that aren't 3.5 compliant yet.

Firebug isn't compliant yet... I Pass.

Okay up to now all sites seem to load fast again, even the sites with adsense on them.

Looks like this is all solved, great!

Ooh, that's a point; I've just noticed that my SearchStatus plugin is no longer working since upgrading...
