Usualy Many People go with default "Blue" color adsense ads, As search engines visitors have tendency to click those "blue color" links.
But yes i agree that matching those adsense link color to our page's link color always brings better result.

I think he means Deleting those ad codes from adsense "Manage ads"
And i gues you can't delete them, but still can hide them if you do not use them anymore.
