Good luck with it, and bare in mind that you can't add adsense ads there.

You can add whatever but adsense; according to "Google Terms"

"...we don't allow ads or search boxes to be placed on pages which misuse Google logos, trademarks, or other brand features in the page content or URL..."

I suggest you use Infolinks, which is by far the best alternative/complement I've ever tested.
