Also I think....
If a niche site like "make money online" or "sexy celeb pics" have similar adsense ads, visitors will click each of the links in the ad unit.
While, if it's a health/finance niche, visitor will click 1 or 2 links usually...
True ? :D
I dunno; I am not very strong in any of those niches.
hmm, then tell us your preferred niches...
I know you are an Adsense Guru - How many $$ / month you make ? :D
Hi Will, from your experience do you think that a 'web programming tutorials' site would be able to generate revenue? I'm thinking of creating one since I have a strong interest in programming, but not too sure if anyone has been successful with this niche.
Just my thought and I get in trouble a lot for thinking so I very well could be wrong.
Second to Mr.Bill, I think you'll make more by providing services your visitors need.
I mean I've compiled a bunch of PHP scripts for various projects and I don't recall ever clicked on ads (adsense in this case), however I do interested in customization / installation service for those scripts as some of them are conflicting or just plain hard to install (I have no programming background whatsoever).
That niche is extremely competitive because web people tend to like to make sites about web things. The result is that you have a lot of competitors in a very small market.
The good niches are about things that webmasters don't know and like -- such as financial accounting or funeral planning.
Question: Can CTR and eCPM change significantly when changing from one adsense account to another? Like when you have bought a website from someone and change the adsense to your codes?
