Google AdSense: You have 3 working days to make changes to tracehide.com

I just received this e-mail from Google Ad Sense last night and i do not understand why and i have no clue what i am supposed to change on my website,

I really do not want my sites google advertisements to be disabled,

Can you please help me determine the problem Google has noticed with my site?

Here is my website URL: http://www.tracehide.com

Here is the E-mail i received from Google .

Google AdSense: You have 3 working days to make changes to tracehide.com
This message was sent from a notification-only email address that does not accept incoming email. Please do not reply to this message. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, While reviewing your account, we noticed that you are currently displaying Google ads in a manner that is not compliant with our policies. For instance, we found violations of AdSense policies on pages such as http://www.tracehide.com/index.php?q...cGhwP2Y9NDA%3D. Please note that this URL is an example and that the same violations may exist on other pages of your website. Publishers may not implement Google ads in a manner that disguises the ads in any way. For instance, publishers may not place ads under misleading headers or titles as this may confuse users into thinking the ads are actually site links related to that header. To avoid this issue, we ask that publishers use only "sponsored links" or "advertisements" to label ads. Please make any necessary changes to your webpages in the next 72 hours. We also suggest that you take the time to review our program policies (https://www.google.com/support/adsen...tc=aspe-1pp-en) to ensure that all of your other pages are in compliance. Once you update your site, we will automatically detect the changes and ad serving will not be affected. If you choose not to make the changes to your account within the next three days, your account will remain active but you will no longer be able to display ads on the site. Please note, however, that we may disable your account if further violations are found in the future. Thank you for your cooperation. Sincerely, The Google AdSense Team Issue ID# 1105250 ---------------- For more information regarding this warning email, please visit our Help Center: https://www.google.com/adsense/suppo...tc=aspe-ai4-en.

Most likely they have an issue with the fact that Google AdSense is on a site that lists proxies. While I don't really seen what the problem is, most likely they're just using that as an excuse.

If you want to keep your AdSense account, I suggest that you completely remove all of the Adsense code from the entire site. That way you won't lose your account.

What do you mean they have a problem with the fact that Google adsense appears on a website which lists proxy websites? My proxy website does not list proxy websites, It is a proxy website and the only thing i have are links to proxy toplists at the bottom of my page,
I would much rather remove those links then to take off my Google advertisements.

There is so many people who are using Google Ad Sense for there proxy website and they are not having any problems so i would rather just pin point the problem and fix it.

    - I changed "TraceHide Sponsors' to "Sponsored Links' on all 3 pages.
    - I added a "Privacy policy' to TraceHide

Please help me , I really would like to continue using Google Ad Sense .

You're right, most likely changing it to "sponsored links" will be just fine. You could, though, also just remove anything related to "sponsors" and just put adsense on the page.

    Hey,

Yeah but i read in the email and it says " we ask that publishers use only "sponsored links" or "advertisements" to label ads." so i changed it from Tracehide Sponsors to sponsored links.

I also added a Privacy policy, Can you think of anything else which should be changed?

Perhaps, I should add a longer description to the Home page or add some sort of content?

I suggest that you implement those changes and IMMEDIATELY ask them to re-check if it's ok now. (you just need to reply to that email)
They typically do it on time, it happened to me before.

I would contact them and remove ALL Adsense from tracehide.com - at least for a while. I'd rather play it safe than risk it.

Let's go through their email again.

The very first link from your site that Google is telling you is a violation of their policies goes to some hardcore islamic warez porn site through your proxy. So I would say that's another problem right there which you need to take care of too.
Somehow Google picked up on that link through your site, or maybe someone has reported it to them on purpose. If you had adsense ads on your proxified pages then you should remove them.

Hello, While reviewing your account, we noticed that you are currently displaying Google ads in a manner that is not compliant with our policies.
For instance, we found violations of AdSense policies on pages such as http://www.tracehide.com/index.php?q...cGhwP2Y9NDA%3D.
You could try letting them know you are not responsible for any external content, because you are running a web proxy, and that same link can probably also be found in google search results too.
You could even ask them for more clarification on how they determined you are responsible for that external link.

Some other things.. Are googlebots & other search engine bots in general blocked in your robots.txt ?

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /index.php?q*
Also look into blocking hotlinking through your phproxy to help prevent abuse if you haven't already.
Here's some code that may help with that:
    http://kiloserve.com/blog/2007/10/26/hotlinking-prevention-for-phproxy-and-cgi-proxy/

It looks like you have hotlinking disabled now though, because I get this error when trying to follow the link they gave you.

Resource Error: An error has occured while trying to browse through the proxy.
It appears that you are trying to access a resource through this proxy from a remote Website.
For security reasons, please use the form below to do so
So if that was always the case, then someone at Google had to click through the proxy form to get to that porn page which is violating their policies.

Just goes to show that you need to start looking elsewhere for monetization opportunities. AdSense isn't the only place where you can make money by putting code on your site (being an affiliate).

I still am sticking with my earlier recommendation, remove adsense completely from the site and find some other way to make money.
