Hard work is the keyword here. Heh. What do you define hard work as though? How often were you updating your sites? How many comments did you make? How many backlinks did you have at that point? I suppose these are questions I should have asked from the beginning.

Hardwork, in my case would be updates everyday. Tons of content. I would pretty much write one or two articles per day. Every blog I saw, I wrote comments, your taking about atleast 40 to 60 comments per day. I had well over 2k backlinks in like the first month or two.

I don't even remember how long it took me to reach my first $100... 2 years or so....

Then another 6 months to make my next $100...

Now I average about $1/day... So hopefully I can get the next payout in 3 months.

Are you purposefully not monetizing it with adsense.....

I'm not sure what you mean. Yes, I have adsense on it.

Oops. I left out some wording. Sorry! What I mean is, are you monetizing it more strongly in another way, or is it just going slow for you?

    Oh, I understand now.

I just have adsense on it right now. I have some affiliate stuff that I will promote on it in the future... But mostly it will just be adsense.

It is a bit slow right now and that was expected. Traffic will pick up in the future.

It tok me about two months to reach $100. But it dropped off after that to the point where I was making close to nothing. I just started play around with it again and I'm back to $1 a day.

I have a couple of new sites that I am developing and aren't online yet. So I'm hoping that I can break $100 a month with the new sites.
