Thread: October Finalized Earnings Issue

Hi all!

My October finalized earnings are 23% lower than estimated.
Anyone else is noticing this?

As far as I can see it might be a system error, but still...

My estimated earnings in Oct 2011 was USD 315.02 surprised to find today my actual earnings is reported as 119.98 - AdSense Help

My earnings were also down in October, but worse than that, I did not receive the payment in October from September's earnings.

There is a bug in their system and it is possible that there are multiple bugs. I reported the payout issue and they acknowledged it and said they are working on it.

They claimed that they have resolved the issue with zero payouts, but I have not yet seen the October payment.

Have you checked your traffic? Your traffic may also be down due to this year's endless updates.

I didn't have any major problems until month end (traffic, ecpm, etc), the problem was after that when Google calculated finalized earnings.

Example:

End of the month states $1000
Finalized (to be paid December 1st) shows $770

I've seen people reporting losses of 75%-99% which is just insane, so it's obviously some kind of glitch. Let's just hope they notice and fix that quickly.

My finalized earnings are in line with the expected earnings, so it seems not all publishers are affected by the glitch.

I did get a response to a message I sent to adsense-support@google.com, but they just acknowledged the problem and pointed me to the Known Issues page. Shenron, you might to contact them and let them know about your discrepancy. I am used to seeing a few dollars difference between the earnings estimate and actual payout, but your issue is worse than a few dollars.

From what I've seen at the support forums, G is already aware of this issue, something that's affecting thousands of users; if they don't fix this on time I'll just contact my manager.

Good news about the october 2011 earnings? Response from Google Employee in Spain... - AdSense Help

A friend of mine reported a $26,000 "Other" deduction in his finalized AdSense earnings. Pretty nuts.

In his case, we figure it was invalid or accidental clicks. Might want to check the payments tab, then expand the finalized earning thing to see if there is an adjustment that they report.

That's a lot of invalid or accidental clicks.

Mine is fixed now. They still adjusted more than usual, but nothing major.

Well, there would be changes in earning as it is not exact all time.
