Okay to place ads directly under the title?

Is it okay to place Adsense ads under the title of the article/blog post? Or not?

Nope, you can't do that, you should at least have a couple of text lines below your title before inserting any ad.

The answer appears to be "sometimes".

Google is addicted to publishing vague rules which can be interpreted to mean anything they want at any time they want. These are completely useless to publishers who are just trying to find out what the real rules are.

If a blog has the post title, then the meta information such as tags, number of comments under the title, then is it OK to have AdSense above the post content?

I would say it is very hard to say. In my blog I put an adsense block right under the title, and so far the big G has not said anything yet. I think you'll get warning only if you are being suspicious I mean if your adsense are getting a lot of clicks / high CTR then they will come and investigate otherwise, it should be fine. CMIIW

This is a matter of opinion but I don't think that it's a good idea to place ads. under the title anyway, regardless of any rules about this. How many people look at the title? Most people look at the content, or rather the headline for the content, first, and that's where the ads. should be, in my opinion.

I think that's what people in this thread are calling "the title".

Maybe <h1> is a better term?

Title of the article/blog post, and not title of web page

Nevermind, so I guess we don't have any fix answer to this question?
Eh, one more thing depends on Google
