Thread: Are Poker Ad Pages Allowed on an AdSense Site?

I have been approached by an unknown adnetwork offering me 20$ in advance by PayPal every 3 months if I add a page to my game site.

The page they want me to create is (advertising) for a top online poker site I know very well.

I would like to know if such as 'sales page' is allowed from the Adsense TOS point of view.

As long as you don't put adsense on the page it should be ok..
Also I would ask for more than $20 for 3 months for a full page. More like $50 a month

I make that from a single link so you should be able to get it (if not more) for a whole page.

Thanks! Are you also running a game site? I have about 600 UVs a day and 100k pageviews a month. I just mention it to see/learn the relation.

I don't run a game site but I do have a poker information site.

The information I gave you comes from my experience of dealing with online poker sites and how they have the money to not be cheap and if you know it you don't have to be underpaid.

They do love finding the people willing to give them links for $5-10 a month though

It would be fine to add advertise of Poker site, but as Aussie said $20 for 3 months is less for that.

Yes, Aussies reply helped me a lot, and If I did accept the offer I would aks for more $.

One has to be very careful with gambling ads on adsense advertised page which in all likelyhood is against TOS, whereas the same site can have a page with gambling ads if without adsense ads, as Aussie hinted at.

But I feel creating an page only for the purpose of displaying poker ads is odd on an arcade site if not in general.

poker is gambling and its was stated in google adsense TOS. its never allowed especially if its posted to where google ads were.

So you put it on another page on the site. But make sure you do not have any adsense code there.

I have made a much much better deal by selling two text links to normal gaming site
