    Prime example of what not to do

    So came across this site in a email went there and about fell out of my seat laughing. Sorry pictures a bit big this is literally all that was on the page ZERO content

    well i have seen such pages before and such pages where shmelessly promoted on social networks asking for friends to click on just one link to help the owner.

    A dummy me question coming up? If there is no content on the page how does google ads know what to show? How was that done?

    A few years ago when I ran a directory I would get submissions like this all of the time.

    @Sami4u, anantshri is correct. Google's AdSense spider can determine a theme through the HTML title tag and page name. If you want to avoid public service ads for a new site, make sure that the title tags, meta tags and page names are focused on a theme. Although Google says that they do not use meta tags for ranking purposes, my testing indicates that the AdSense spider does use them.

    Had a look its using hidden h1 tag and the text is at the bottom of the page but its black to match the background.

    I didn't actually opened the link once i was guessing based on my previous experiance.

    but this came out to be a lot simpler
