    Replacing Adsense with Private Advertising

I'm not really a fan of Adsense. I know a lot of people make money with it, but I just think there are so many better ways to make money with a website than with Adsense.

I wrote an article on my website about how you could use Adsense to generate private ad sales and make even more money with that same ad block. Let me know what you think.

Would love to know what you think about the method.

I think you missed a big piece of information that would throw off a lot of your calculations for pricing ads in the article.

As a publisher, you get 68% revenue share, while G gets only 32%. This information has been officially published by G.

So it is rather incorrect to say "I would wager mega money that the amount of money they take out is more than 50% of the click" or that "Google takes the biggest chunk they can and you’re left with the remains".

Nice article, however you repeat the same paragraph twice.

"Believe it or not, it’s not very difficult to find people who have money to advertise. Anyone who is using Adwords for their business is an advertiser and therefore, has money to advertise.

Do a search of the big keywords in your niche in Google. Pay attention then to what websites are advertising. If it’s Amazon, stay away. However, if it’s individual websites or places that offer services online, you might have found your answer.

Because these people are advertising, they are looking for ways to generate more business online. If your site is a local site, look for businesses that are local. If your site is national, stay away from the local sites."

I do this, why remove an income source?

Also, I don't like the idea of going out looking for Advertisers, they come to you if your site ranks for their keywords, you just need to provide a means to be contacted. And to automate the process you can sign up with a service such as Text Link Ads (they advertise your link spot but take a chunk of the revenue). But you don't have to do any work apart from a cut and paste of some code.

Looking forward to a non-theoretical post on your blog showing revenue results

    Hello,

After reviewing our records, we've determined that your AdSense account
poses a risk of generating invalid activity. Because we have a
responsibility to protect our AdWords advertisers from inflated costs due
to invalid activity, we've found it necessary to disable your AdSense
account. Your outstanding balance and Google's share of the revenue will
both be fully refunded back to the affected advertisers.

Please understand that we need to take such steps to maintain the
effectiveness of Google's advertising system, particularly the
advertiser-publisher relationship. We understand the inconvenience that
this may cause you, and we thank you in advance for your understanding and
    cooperation.

If you have any questions or concerns about the actions we've taken, how
you can appeal this decision, or invalid activity in general, you can find
    more information by visiting
Disabled Account FAQ - AdSense Help.
