To get more clicks,i suggest you to keep adsense at the top of the home page and you also need good traffic to your site to get more clicks!
I would mave your ad column and one other column over to the left side of teh screen to give the page a more natural flow.
The ad placements could be way much better, although since I'm not having time enough to explain everything I will link you to the following website:
PhoNuts Photoshop Tutorials - A passion to create the best free adobe photoshop tutorials available online.
Do check the ad placements there, it might look a bit 'too much' but it isn't ;) The owner is making a lot of money with that website even know he doesn't update it anymore very often :)

The World's Ugliest Cheerleader told me this one:

I would center the 120x600 skyscraper in the left column. Or heck, I would probably widen the column and swap it out with a 160x600 wide skyscraper.
You will do best with ads in the center column that have no borders and match the colors of your content.
For Wordpress, it's hard to beat the All in One AdSense and YPN plugin for placing AdSense ads in-content.
In-content ads far outperform sidebar ads. :)
Thanx for the tips. :)
I will try the plugin of wordpress. :D
But its in the TOS of Adsense that I can only put 3 ads unit on a page.

Same problem I’m facing as Digital mentioned. I placed ads at top and left bar. My CTR is going down day by day. Please review my ad placement. Looking forward for your suggestions. Here’s the URL:
