Why won't adsense pay through paypal?

Almost every ad network pays through Paypal. I wish Adsense would too.

Would you really like, and appreciate this option? (To get paid by paypal). What do you think is stopping google from paying out by paypal?

Google has its own competing system called Google Checkout. I can't see them offering payouts via a competitor.

I can't be bothered to make a google checkout account. (Since paypal is all I have needed so far)

So from Wikipedia article on google checkout :

Prior to launch there had been early speculation that Google was building a product to compete with paypal. However, the scope of Google Checkout is focused on enabling one-time payments to be made from a purchaser to a merchant. Unlike PayPal, Google Checkout does not permit the use of stored funds, nor allow payments from person to person.

PAYPAL is owned by eBay ( Google's competitor ). Why will Google Support a competitor's product.

Billions or dollars would be invloved. It's much too big for Google to implement through a payment system that they do not own.

Ya, true. They want system of their own so that they can handle all issues and disputes themselves rather than a third party.

Well for one, PayPal is not actually a bank. Its a 3rd party that acts as agent on your behalf. This why they can disallow certain types of transactions and ban you and put limits on how much you can withdraw. A real bank cannot do that. I dont think Google would entrust their money into PayPal.

Beside its competitor to Google, Pay Pal dont support hundred of countries
so I dont see its a good solution for any program which use it.
