Thread: The Worst Niches

I've seen hundreds, even thousands of topics on webmaster forums about the best performing niches. One thing that people should understand, is that people that actually found good niches, won't spread what they are .

That's why I've created this thread to talk about niches that performed very bad for you. For example, I've created a website in the tuning niche and had 5 to 10 clicks daily but they only paid $0,01 - $0,03 per click

What were the worst niches for YOU?

It seems like anything humor or graphic oriented sucks for earning.

People who are just looking to waste time are the worst people to have on your web site.

The proxy niche is pretty awful too.

That it is. The traffic that those sites get doesn't convert worth a grain of salt. I think the logic is pretty simple if a majority of them are just kids they have no money, how would they convert on any leads to action? Second they are on computers with filters. The filters intefer with anything your trying to sell.
Your adverts themselves could very well be linking to a site that is blocked. So they click on the ad and the site is blocked that the ad is linked to. lol what good is that?

I am really in the proxy niche to attract people to my non-proxy pages.

A lot of sports niches are bad too.

A good niche might be making a site about data on the worst niches. xD

That is why I have a special time to promote my proxies, to grab adult's attention and not kids that want to watch porn from school, Btw i think adsense pays less for US educational network visits.

Gulp! I give away free clipart so my alarm bells are ringing. Before I put this blog together I wanted it to have an edge. I only have a tag cloud and categories where people can find my clipart.

The clipart that I produce is alongside a keyword rich post so I am hoping this will weigh each other out.

Should I be thinking that my site is never going to be a big money earner? If so is does anyone have any ideas on how I can use my graphics and writing skills to my advantage?

Well, I can certainly recommend period drama movies as a spectacularly poorly paying niche (I didn't choose the topic!).

Like whatthehell, I've received 1 cent for two clicks, and I'm pretty sure that I've even received 1 cent for three clicks once. The average at the moment is about 3 cents per click...

I'm just hoping that I can claw back some cash with the period drama DVD store!
