Your guess on smart pricing, per account or per site

I was curious what peoples thoughts on smart pricing are. I think I'm still stuck in a rut, 19 clicks that are 1c or under. and
    8,207 63 $3.86
Which isn't horrible, but not good.

Im trying to invest my proxy earnings into building and buying niche sites with organic traffic. Would it be best to remove adsense from my proxies in hopes of "un" smart pricing my account?

I know no one knows for sure, but anyone have any thoughts on this?

Smart pricing is per account. This was leaked in JenSense's article, One poorly converting site can “smart price” an entire AdSense account.

InsideAdSense did a follow-up article, The facts about smart pricing, which is also worth reading.

Any thoughts on a second adsense account? It's per SSN or EID, right? Hmmm....That's interesting. I could just open one up in my little brothers name, I'm sure he wouldn't mind...as long as there's not piles of income the IRS would hassle us about.

I always thought it was per website. I think that would make more sense.

It would be nice if there was a red flag or some indicator of a threshold that throws an account into Smart Pricing. Anyone who has a lot of sites probably has a few that are poor performers.

It's interesting that the Inside AdSense article doesn't offer any useful advice, other than to build useful content. In fact, it tells you, "Don't remove the AdSense code from your site just because it has a lower CTR - it may be one of your best converting sites."

The JenSense article indicates that Smart Pricing is evaluated every week, which could explain why my account appears to bounce in and out of Smart Pricing. One week the average payout per click is pennies and the next week it is substantially higher.

Create a corporation and open an AdSense account as the corporation. In Colorado, it costs $50 to incorporate. Every state is different. Some states, like Illinois, are very anti-business and make it difficult and expensive to incorporate.

If a lot of your traffic is local, it could be that Google is just paying very low prices for non-US/UK/CA/AU clicks.

Per account means per publisher, right? So if a publisher publishes good content, if he puts his name to that content each time he publishes it, could he have such a good rep with Google that he would avoid smartpricing?

That can be the problem. It is a local site, but local ads are shown. I cant believe local offers are so cheap.
