    Thumbs up Affiliate Networks

How many of you promote affiliate ads through different affiliate networks? What sorts of marketing methods do you use? How successful have your attempts with affiliate marketing been?

I've done quite a bit of affiliate marketing. I try to do a lot of search engine marketing when I have a little extra capital. For example, one offer I promoted pretty successfully was a 60's music CD offer from XY7 (yes, I work there and get top tier payout ). I setup a basic landing page and did some keyword research. I promoted right when the offer became available so there wasn't much competition besides the actual company who sold the product.

For the most part I used keywords involving the top artists in the 60s. They were very cheap keywords and they were getting a lot of volume. I pushed the offer for a month or so and made about $1,000. Soon some other marketers picked up the offer and started to promote it as well. Prices started to rise and I dropped out of the race I was happy to be up about $800 when everything was said and done though.

This is just one example to spark your interest. As your Affiliate Manager it is my job to make sure you are the one seeing the 60's music offer before everyone else and pushing it hard like me. Are you ready?

Either way, I'm interested to see what all you have done with affiliate marketing

I've had a lot of success with affiliate marketing with mainly PPC. I think my first big success was with "Run your car on water" on clickbank.

Since then I have started up quite a few different campaigns with most at least breaking even. The problem in recent times is I have tried 2 newer affiliate companies and still haven't been paid by them. So money has gotten tighter to use in Adwords and YSM and I'm looking at article marketing now.

You can be sure you'll be paid by XY7. Once you hit your $50 minimum you'll receive your check

In your opinion, what do you think is the best affiliate network a newbie should join. I am only a newbie in the affiliate marketing world. I am a webmaster though, I have other sites that just run on ads.

If you are going to join as a vendor, I suggest paydotcom.com. They allow you to market one product w/o paying anything. And if you want to sell more products, you have to pay one time fee of $29. And thay charge you only $1-$3/product sold. They have over 400 000 affiliates ready to sell your product(s).

If you are going to join as an affiliate, I suggest paydotcom.com
Because most vendors pays you via PayPal.

It is free to join as an affiliate to both networks. Paydotcom.com and ClickBank.
You should first search for products you want to promote. From both networks, then compare wich one offers better products to promote. (And better commisions)

    Search paydotcom.com products:
    https://paydotcom.com/marketplace.php

    Search ClickBank products:
    ClickBank Marketplace - ClickBank

    I hope that helped.

Ps. If I remember correctly, I have few ebooks about affiliate marketing. If I find them, I will PM them to you.
