What are the most popular affiliate marketing niches?

I'm new to affiliate marketing and I'd like to know what are the most popular affiliate marketing niches? I know they would be hard to get in because of the competition, but I only want to know the map a little bit more before starting to build my empire!

Weight loose products?
making money at home ebooks?
electronics?

What are the most used affiliate marketing programs?

I like the hosting affiliate niche.. Most popular hosts give around 50$ / 65$ per new lead, even if they only pay $4,50

Health niches are very popular. Lots of traffic, and lots of competition.

Porn is another popular. But I stay away from it. Too many legal issues imo.

- acne meds
- wrinkle reducers
- resveratrol
- acai

aside from health, there is also:
- grant programs
- various biz-opp
- cellular
- dating

Of course we have all these niches on our CPA network
