What's the purpose of many forum profile views? And also I've visited the website quite a lot now, but never clicked on an avatar to see someone's profile.. so isn't that the same with all of us? :D

Aquarezz, the purpose of many forum profiles views are many based on the purpose you want to give to your profile page. For example, you can use it as a tool for marketing (getting known in many forums), It increase visibility on your signature links, etc...
And as for the forum that uses the red icon, it increases back links from all websites that uses the widget in the network.
