Default DigitalPoint links

Hello,
I wanted to write this:
Quote:
Are you the user from the other forum? You wanted to buy my NetBuilders signature and DigitalPoint (Digital Point Forums) signature (a total of 5302 posts at the time of writing) at the price of $75 per month.

If that's fine for you, please leave a PM. Offer valid until 20th of February.
in a post but the DigitalPoint links aren't working.

It seems to work here, but when I posted it in the 'links' section, it showed a markup error. Any reason for that?
Now it shows blank, here is an example: http://www.netbuilders.org/links/will-buy-3-000-links-14663.html#post112096

It appears to happen only when posting DP links..

Greetz

Sounds like someone at the top decided not to provide backlinks to a competing forum.
Just a guess, but if so it doesnt bother me... pasting a url isnt that strenuous even for us geezers.

That means no linking to DP, Aww! Another shocker. But I think in a manner it is good, I mean we should avoid promoting our competitors

Whatever forum it is, we should be allowed to place a link to them. Maybe the URL got blacklisted but heck.. I'm posting links to NetBuilders from that place too so..

I'd like to hear an answer from someone of the staff on this one, DigitalPoint isn't the best forum for most of the people here, but at least it's another place to make money besides NetBuilders and we're all in here to make profit.

This appears to be a bug in AME.

AME has special rules for handling vBulletin -- and they don't seem to work with DP.

I disabled these four AME definitions and that seems to make the problem not appear:
**Internal Linking (Forums/Categories) internal_linking_forumscategories
**Internal Linking (Member Profiles) internal_linking_member_profiles
**Internal Linking (Single Posts) internal_linking_single_posts
**Internal Linking (Threads) internal_linking_threads
This bug only shows up for external vBulletin forums that don't run vBSEO -- which in the webmaster niche is pretty much only DP.
