I can't decide whether I like it or not.

It's intimidating. I slept for a bit and came back to You Have 90 Unread Posts.

Heh, I quite like it. If you manage to keep it below 5, it's not so bad. So far, I've read every single word that has been posted on this forum.

I'm not a big fan either, it's showing 1189 Unread Posts for me, and there is no way I'm going to trawl through them all

Hey is it set this way or is it broken, not sure, but when I visit, usually new posts show since my last visit, and then after x minutes it resets them all and shows the ones since the last visit again, but for some reason they aren't doing that here, and are showing all posts that I haven't looked at since I set mark all posts as read.

Is there a way to fix that because I hate having to scroll through 10 pages of stuff I don't care to read just to see any new stuff, just because I haven't looked at it the last 20 times I visit.

That's a kind of an annoying either/or option.

One way annoys people who browse like you do. The other way annoys people who browse like I do. I come to the forum and read a few posts -- but not all the posts I want to read. Then I get pulled away because I have to deal with something. If the unread posts reset themselves while I'm dealing with something in IM, I get annoyed.

It's a bit of a pickle!
