Thread: Do you think Join Date should be visible?

Do you think location should be visible or invisible? I personally like being able to see when they joined without having to go into there profile.

I feel,location doesn't matter more but the join date should be visible so that we can know about how long the user is old to the forum.

It's a NO for me, as you can see the number of posts to know roughly how old is a member.

Join date is necessary according to me as it gives us a rough idea about haow senior the particular member is

Not really I could do 100 posts a day if I wanted to. It doesn't show how old a member is at all.

Like stated above, that is not correct. Unlike post counts, I'd like to see Join date stay.

I think it's a good idea. It makes us think about how dedicated each member is to the forums, and it's impressive to see someone who's been around for a while.

This come back to the old question of what to remove if you want the Join date, maybe we could remove Location? I am not totally against displaying the join date, but I guess we could only have so much user info, so we have to decide again which to take out in order to put the join date.

Join date should be visible IMO, Location should be unvisible on topic-display

Location should be unvisible for me as well, Join date should be there.
