Chat Fusion was in the lead, except for a bug where searches (including New Posts) didn't work. Unfortunately, the developers of Chat Fusion aren't responding. Their bug reporting system is broken and they have not responded to public or private messages.
That put Color Theory back in the lead. The developers of Color Theory set my mind at rest regarding vBBlog and gave me a hint as to the FORUMHOME problem. My next task is to see if I can make our FORUMHOME work with Color Theory without breaking it's compatibility with all other vBulletin themes.

The developers of Chat Fusion contacted me with a fix. :)
The fix was to revert the search_results template.
After trying to understand it for about an hour, the hint from the Color Theory developer still failed to make any sense to me. Plus, I was reminded that Color Theory still uses the legacy postbit template.
This puts Chat Fusion back in the lead. :D
Now I need to fix a couple of minor things in the way some of our plugins and modifications work with Chat Fusion.
P.S. Where'd the "New Posts" button go?

Ohhh... that New Posts button, I thought you mean the one on the navbar.
That one was coded, umm... interestingly. I would not work nicely with Chat Fusion so I disabled it.
I could fix it, but the forum has grown so large now that I'm not sure it's valuable any longer.
Thoughts?
