Need your links removed? Please read carefully.

Frequently I get emails from someone who needs their links removed because they paid someone to spam this forum (or they did it personally) and now Google has correctly identified those links as (wow, what a shock)... SPAM.

HOW TO FIX IT THE PROBLEM YOU CREATED
If you want me to go to work on YOUR behalf to remove the crap you deposited, there will be a fee, and the fee will depend on the extent of the spam you placed or had placed here. The fix will not be free. The minimum charge will be $25. Drop me an email offering to pay me to fix the problem you created and I'm all ears. Otherwise, sorry you screwed up.

That in essence is what I always say.

If memory serves I stole the idea from you. Just occurred to me I could put up a link and refer to it instead of ignoring their email or re-reiterating the point anew each time.

And since someone just sent me an email referring to me in a less than complimentary manner... I'll share with the class.
Starts with a "request" that I work for free on a project benefiting only him.

    Hello admin,
I hired an SEO team that performed tasks outside of what was permitted.
In the interest of good customer service, please remove the listing, profile, and links to weddingtropics.com. Including the following pages:

So... if you're looking to do business with Kevin Baldwin(aka kevin@weddingtropics.com)... the notes above should help.
Either he IS the guy emailing me or he hired him. Wonder if that's a sign of good judgment?

Hey Kev, you got a few free links. Hope it helps. ~ Love, Rob

Iowa - I get a fair share of spam on twitter. I wouldnt do business with the people that do it on a bet. Doubt I'm the only one.

Took me some time on twitter, but I should have damn few bots/inactive accounts following me.
Now the vast majority of my followers are real people (99% conservatives).
So besides my blogs and sites, I do tweet out other great sites I find that my followers would enjoy going to.

Still, I get pm's and emails and dm's from people wanting to pay me to spam out their crap sites. Yes, I check their sites and those offering money usually have crap sites.

    That sentence:
You tried to take advantage of their poor economics and instead they took advantage of your poor judgement.

But you do responded on those e-mails? I think most of the crap gets removed anyway?

Funny part is today I got such a request from Chandigarh India, saying a company they'd employed was responsible. I happen to have a vast history of trying to stop a couple of shady SEOs in Chandigarh from spamming the hell outta multiple forums. Call me skeptical.

    Just too damn funny!

    Which leads to twitter.
Surprising how many people will pay to have their link blasted out to non followers, bots, and more.
