Hellas that idea is great. Like the Busby SEO World Cup Competition we can also have Net Builders SEO World Cup Contest 2 . I would really be interested to participate.

P.S: I have a suggestion no keyword based domains or sub-domains next time. Let see the real SEO master skills to in the contest. It will be much harder than this one.

Hello all,

Well... the contest is just about over and I just wanted make a final post (with regards to my experience in it).

While this was my first seo contest and albeit a half hearted atempt at it, I must say it was fun. To see how everyone jockeyed their pages, interlinked and marketed the phrase and positions changing from day to day. Very very interesting to say the least.

While I'm relegated to being somewhere on the 4th page, I did manage to crack 2nd page several times and 1st page for about a minute. Not too shabby for a single page on a site that was new (PR virgin) eh? And I'm also honored that nearly 600 pages either scraped mine verbatim or took parts of it with word changes. Also very cool IMHO.

sulumits competitor Did you happen to read my sulumits page? I went into detail regarding an seo contest based on assigned generic alpha-numeric domain names. This is the only way to have a true result from a contest of this type. SEO/M in its purist form.

As long as you ocmpete in it I'm down with that

I learned cause of you and thanks for your hard lessons and spying on your site and copycatting to some extents I got 6th place here in the US. Maybe I'll see about applying some stuff to my own sites someday.

stevenh, I have read through your whole posts about sulumits retsambew contest. I think that we can get the real fight in SEO contest where domain advantage is not there. I have been participating in many SEO contest and I hope Kaboon and Bleuken knows me through many contests. I am now taking part in stop dreaming start action and have gained an early 15th page position and I hope to increase my SERP in the following. Those who would like to support me in that contest can provide me some backlinks with anchor text "stop dreaming start action". Kaboon, I hope we will have another great SEO contest there.

Yeah Cijo... I noticed you from other events before.

Sorry if me commenting is not related on the thread, but stop dreaming start action is a local Indonesian contest and targeting the SERP in Google.co.id

But if any one is interested to help me, you are welcome
