If that is the case it was needed to say right away, since some people already buyed domains and spend some time on them...

We all had the change to register the keyword .com/.org etc and had our own reasons why we did not. I didn't do it because there was not enough on my paypal account, so be it. Some contestants may have a company behind them that may blow away the small guys like myself.
But I agree that the keyword.com/org will put a lot of weight in the contest.

There are so many factors in SEO that it is only fair not to count points at all. SEO is objective and 'not fair', so should be the contest.

I agree with this. keyword domains will have more weight. But it has already started. Lets see what others say on this.

You're completely on the contest and I've heck of jobs to be handled on Monday 9one of the busiest days of the week).

Good step.

I too agree with you as it is always hard to beat Big Gaint companies. They can put their whole man power as well as some funds into to win the contest. I was so lucky to have finished as the runner up in "Review on RefererX" contest. The huge traffic to my blog made it an authority blog which finished on top 3. This was not such a tight contest as there was only limited number of participants. Let us wait and see what happens here in Sulumits Retsambew

I will post my site later. Right now I'm planning a strategy how to lose this competition.

The best way to move up is by adding outbound links to authority sites with the same subject matter (mine=))
