He could get over 100k improper links, linking from Web sites about stuff that is totally irrelevant to the webmaster theme that NetBuilders follows, but I don't think that that is quite what Will wants.

Yes, we're reasonably new. But we have quickly developed a large database of useful information. Quality and quantity. What more could you ask for?

I am guessing you will be able to buy a new domain to try to get to rank or use an old one. That's probably totally up to you.

I might take part in this too, just to see what kind of stuff people are using.

Don't you think it'd be too easy. Because there would be least competition to that keyword if we make any random keyword or the competition would be only among the participants; again not much competition. For the one you suggested (for an example.. not surely this one), one would take hardly 1 or 2 months (lesser) to rank nicely. I beleive the keyword/s should be average competitive. Just my humble opinion...
