I am seeing a huge difference in Datacenter rankings for my sulumits retsambew contest entry . In US datacenter the blog is showing a 18 position and it is a stable position. In datacenter from India it shows a Google Dance between 21st position and 55th position. Can someone confirm the SERP as well as why this is happening. I am getting the maximum traffic from Indonesia, then India , followed by USA and Philippines. I am only getting 14% traffic from USA while I am getting 45% traffic from Indonesia. India I am not considering the traffic much. Is my sulumits retsambew entry getting some sort of SERP changes ?. Why is it happening? It was a lead entry to the contest for almost a month. Why is it stable in US datacenter but having a dance in other DC's ? Any experts who can answer. Hellas, a answer from you would be expected on this issue.

Still, Google.com shows different results depending on your geographic location.

I'm no expert. But in my assumption, your results and positions would vary where the competition would be higher. Or if I say not competition, but where there will be more activity on a particular keyphrase, your positions tend to vary frequently. Because Google keeps getting new info, pages, links in that particular datacenter and location.

Why different data centers show diff results? Because google may not want to have the SERPs and results abused. And it is giving different results in diff datacenters. My first statement may also relate with this.

SEO for an international contest - targeted to the specific location.. Now that's a joke. Regional and local SEO has great results if someone wants to target the local market depending upon their niche and business. It has its own value.

What we were discussing was why there are different results in different datacenters and locations in this contest (or in any online niche competition). And of course, one can make assumptions.. No solid answers.
