I agree that you are better off without them. But, it all depends on how many noobs you have. Imagine 100k of them running wild

I'm planning on it.

We have better automated spam (and noob) management tools than some other webmaster forums. This includes software to prevent thread bumping in the Marketplace, replacement of anonymous Reputation with public Thanks, and custom user fields to reduce automated registrations.

We also maintain a higher mod-to-member ratio. This helps to keep us from being overwhelmed.

Most importantly though, we're building a culture where certain behaviors are accepted and other behaviors are not accepted. I'm following the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fixing_Broken_Windows"]broken windows[/ame] theory of social enforcement. That's why you don't see a lot of "me too" posts here at NetBuilders. They make the place look bad and we clean them up almost as soon as they are posted. (GC is an exception to this rule)

Overall, it's a work in progress. I firmly believe that we're doing some things better, but that still leaves a lot of room for improvement.

That's why we're recruiting people like you to be mods.

How we will know that who is mod in our forum . Like their profile will get tittles or like you will create a thread like other forums where all names will be announced .

Go to the forum home page and click View Forum Leaders.

If someone does something questionable or mean, they'll get a kind and loving PM from a moderator asking them to play nice.

If they did that at DP, there wouldn't have been a single DP user joining NB.

For a long time now, I've felt that it was more than a bit odd for the mods at DP to give members infractions for posting in their native tongues. It just seemed disrespectful. The U.S. created the Internet, but it is now an international network.

Here at NetBuilders, we have mods who are fluent in many languages. Moreover, we'll add more mods as we gain additional members across the globe. Heck, I'm thinking of opening a forum here where the conversation is primarily in Spanish.

We already have a forum for our Indian members. Can you imagine banning Hindi from an Indian forum?

We have several members from Singapore and at least one from China. I'm pretty sure we'd be able to sucker at least one of them into volunteering as a mod.

Well, people from Singapore type in english, but if there is a chinese one, it will benefits those from China Best is there is Singapore one where we can talk about Singapore topics and in Singlish
