I think that all should participate in every contest with the real spirit of the contests. A contest is a place where we can meet and know more about other competitors. I have been participating in numerous SEO contest and I have finished on the 20 position in the latest SEO contest tnomeralc web design toys . I really like to take contest in its real spirit. It is It is really sad :( that many of the participants did not take the contest in the real spirit. I was just trying to place signature links in other forums. I have already cleared if that was possible with shenron. I wasn't thinking that I will win but I am really happy that I won this one.

If you count winners by the rules. Then DomainMagnat is first. His member have 30 posts :D. Anyway I did not participated in the contest, I put that link on my Sulumits Retsamew, so you can disregard my price, my members dont have over 10 posts. So I can not accept the price. Sorry.

BTW now it is clear why I attacked one of this referred members yesterday. Since I knowed that they got paid to make 10 posts, googling their names together was resulted an easy spot.

2nd Place: $50 - Handsome
3rd Place: $25 - Hellas

or

The Other Guys
1st Place: $100 - stefanodran
2nd Place: $50 - Kunal
3rd Place: $25 - (no third place contestant)

I hope I can answer you question. Yes, the contest is over and both the set are winner as Will Spencer didn't want to change the rules in the middle of the contest and he choose to end the contest earlier as some members where just participating to win by any means. All should take contest in its spirit and winning or loosing is not the matter as Will said "We win some contest and we loose some too" . So it is a matter of time and we need to try but in the right manner. The most important thing is to take part in the contest. Participation really counts to the activity in the forum. I am the moderator in some forums and I know how hard it is to run contest making sure that all the members follow the rules of the contest. Winning is after all a matter of time. In SEO contests also the same thing happens. Try our best leave the rest to Google. :D

i understand why admin end this contest early. this is the fifth forum i joined within 2 weeks. and i'll be active here for long.

LeavemeAlone, It is really nice to know that you will be active here. I am also a member of many forums including DP. The thing I find different in NB forum is that all the members I meet here are all friendly and helpful. All are ready to help each other. The most inspiring members are Hellas, ChillingBreeze, Shenron, Will Spencer,Firetown, Geeone,wwe_fan9417...I am not sure of the rest as I have only started to meet more members. I think that list will keep on growing.

DP is Digital Point another forum like NetBuilders. I am sure you are going to earn some pretty good money from the five forums you are now joined this week. If you are good at SEO you can try out the SEO contest in DP. The contest has started and almost two months have past , but still there is more than enough time in the contest as it will only end on August 15th 2009. The rules are simple read them. Make sure that you post your entry URL on the SEO contest thread on our NetBuilders forum.
