Am surprised there is no Advertisements on this forum?
Nice, it is plain and clean. No cluster
I am still trying to figure out how to add my Adsense code to the forum
It is nice to see it with ads. I am sure in time there will be ads and people will be tripping over each other to get there ads on here.
Eh, we're revolving in circles here... I recall discussing this a couple of days ago.
Will's intention is to display ads which will link internally to Net Builder's marketplace threads. He's not trying to earn anything more with this project, his aim is to help us earn (he's not sure why).

Instead of the 'Bookmarks' thingie above the QuickReply, one simple line of ads would maybe be more usefull...
But I think Will is waiting adding the ads, until the forum is active

Let me re-assure you folks, Will definitely wants to make this a "successful venture".
I think that's how a successful anything work - when it works like a corporation and tries to build wealth.
The first priority is for the forum to grow - once we've grown to a level, we should look at a proper and effective way of monetizing the forums.
We should just let this question to rest for the moment.
A few things are holding back ads.
The new forum skin isn't here. The designer went AWOL. I don't want to modify this template when we're just going to replace it. I have to find a new designer.
I am not excited about AdSense. I would really rather promote products and services belonging to forum members, or products and services that I honestly believe will be of great benefit to forum members. This may be a stupid idea, but I'd like to give it a try.
We really are still a tiny forum, there is no hurry to place ads to cover the costs of operating the forum. When we grow, that may change.
