If the GC does not count, then I will not post there as often now. NB loses on this not me.
Hi,
Why care about post count? It is like PR not really important. IMHO Either you want to make a contribution to the forum or you don't. You still get your sig links. No real big deal.

It's ok not to include posts from GC. It will still be "Business as Usual".![]()
Same thing with me but no worriesNB following DP rules slowly slowly which one is good IMO
DON.
Haha...well said. I can remember somebuddy told something like this also. It's just the near future
.
NB will also start to maintain strict forum rules...
Well rule is a part of quality. everybody know that we cant make a quality community without rules or we want lot of moderators to maintain community without strict rules.
but rule must be same for everyone like admin, moderators, members etc. etc.
about dp, their staff only know how to ban without any reason. i am only like buffalo there.
admin can remove his negative itraders, moderators can ban his/hes competitor there. etc. etc.
but member cant do anything, there are no option to contact them, if they create new account to contact then they ban again for duplicate accounts.
some days ago someone post here that he got ban from dp bacaz his brother and he use same ip to access dp. and dp release a notice that if you using shared ip then contact us before catch you, and he did mistake that he pm to mod with his brother id and both account got ban. hahahah![]()

I may be mistaken but part of the reason may be post count more closely matching expertise. Anyone(literally) could sign up and make hundreds of posts in off topic, thus lending them credibility they may not deserve.
Someone with no knowledge would not be able to make hundreds of posts in other sections and get away with it(nor would they be likely to do so).
Actually NB wins... I'm not sure if it wins on account of YOU not posting there, but it'll certainly win when it comes to less posts of pointless content.
I have noticed on many forums that people seem to think that post count = divine knowledge. This simply is NOT the case, and by making the posts that truly matter on a webmaster forum count, then it's the counted posts that actually mean something....now I'll likely be more inclined to look into the posting history of someone here and to see what they actually have to say, unlike another webmaster forum I am a member of where I simply check what % of the members posts are in sales and general sections, as those offer nothing but additions to the post totals.
My Homesteading blog is not worth reading
My Magick site is not worth it's server space
My Occult forum is likely something you'd not have an interest in
My wife's Hedgewitch site is worth checking out though...
