Sigature Link Limit & Post Link Limit

I think its better to experiment then to sit and watch what will happen.

I agree with Rob for scaling things up. If we raise number of posts needed for signature and profile link, it will be easier to spot a spammers.

I have been always complaining ( reporting) about posters with 2 post + signatures and they get disappeared. Now Finally, they are going to get kicked out.

Well... let's try it for awhile.

I just installed SM Limit Editing Signature Before X Posts and set it for 25 posts.

But how to measure results?

Make a note from the date you added the measure and wait (lets say 1 month)

then run stats of "new members" and "post activity" and compare from dates, time frames and take a quick review of post quality before/after the measure had taken place.

(it sounds a lot of work. but it is worth the effort on the long run. ) :)
