    Some Suggestions

I like how Net Builders is growing and see a bright future ahead

    A few suggestions here:

    1. lets have a closed forum that only registered members can view, after they've posted a few posts and been around here for short period of time. Like 10 posts and a week you know. So we can discuss things we don't want people in other forums to know. This post would be the first one

    2. Personally I'd love to see more people providing quality seo services in this forum! I mean the regular stuff such as writing articles, submitions, distributions, all kinds of social bookmarking stuff, blog comments etc. DP is flooded with this stuff, but the competition cuts down the prices and also quality. Would be great if we have more people providing really quality services here, based on each other's recommendation. So we can invite some people from dp and other forums over here and also make sure the bad types won't come along.

Yeah, we're all proud of the growth the forum has gone through in the past few days!

I'm not sure if that'll actually work out that good - because, we'd be defeating the purpose of the forum

There's this small proverb called - you get what you pay for.

As long as there's a marketplace really cheap guys from India will keep coming in and selling stuff, and similarly some really good guys will pop up.

So, its all about filtering the lot.

The good guys generally graduate and move out of digitalpoint ( like i did ) because there's millions to be made outside all this.

The bad ones stay and rip people off

PS: I'm an Indian, and I was not generalizing scam artists as Indian above, I've sold all kinds of shit in digitalpoint before, and I've had quite a jolly journey with that forum.

I do agree. I do never want this forum to go down the road DP went. Maybe we need more SEO specific sections.
General chat is fine, but it's probably helpful to see more SEO related sections when entering the forum.
We don't want to give newcomers the impression that this is a place to go post when you're bored. It should primarily be a place to learn. And yes, I do agree that we need a private section. Maybe even several and some which you can only enter when you have 100 posts and are a member for a month or something like that.
For blood type dating go here. If your blood type is rhesus negative, go there. If you are bored and feel like liking a Facebook page, hit this one.

Care to share some reasons? I'm still not one hundred percent sure why, and am not sure why DP has one.

Maybe something that we can put up where people are more likely to share insider tips knowing not everyone is able to access them and we invite people based on who those with access suggest as a new recruit.

Wouldn't that actually encourage people to spam the shit out in order to reach the 100 post count so that they could gain access to the private forums?

One of the things that I'm certainly looking for is to be able to exchange insider tips & knowledge with at least people of the same level or with similar business models.

I was talking to Ash just yesterday and learn that he is an expert of X business model while I was looking for help on Y business model.

Perhaps we can segregate the private section into such or manage them into similar interest groups and prescreen applicants/members according to their needs, experience and 'level' they are. (This is just off my head, without thinking how it can be done.)

One of the reasons I can see to have a private area, is where trusted members can exchange specific and useful information that you cannot find elsewhere - like case studies, latest trends, profitability, etc. - well, that is how I see it can truly benefit all of us.

Any forum needs a members only section, that's foruming 101
Too many reasons to list, we don't want google to spider "everything" being one of them
