well. i agree. keep it simple. dont put bunch of graphic. dont go neon.
dont use emboss and bevel... dont made it to dark dont made it to light.

I don't like the sneak peak you've given, but maybe I would like it more once it's in place. The current theme is okay, but I'm looking forward to something new and unique.
