What is ONE thing you would like to see from a webmasters forum?

That is really cool to see. In both post it is obvious that word of mouth has got out and people really do crave a new place that hey can learn from and be a real part of a community. See they are saying quality, better members and awesome administration. They haven't even joined and already know. I for one am very thankful for the email and that I actually read it and joined.

Thank you again I personally wouldnt change anything just looking forward to seeing its growth for more possible deals in the marketplace.

Looking over the categories of what new members are requesting should naturally generate a ToDo list for future development.

Here's the current status:

Web Tools

Nathan is working on a new web tool for our collection. I'm not ready to talk about it yet, but it shouldn't be too far into the future.

Better Members

I think we're doing great with member quality. We need to do a lot of work on member quantity.

I think a new member referral contest is the next step, but I would love to hear some other ideas for bringing people into the community.

Better Moderation

We really haven't needed much moderation. Everyone is being really cool.

Proxy Forum

I just added a reference to NetBuilders into every email from each of the proxy lists. I also added links to the Proxy List Support Forum to the proxy submission pages on each of the proxy lists.

These steps may garner us some new members.

SEO Contest

The SEO contest is on track.

Now it feels like we should start another shorter contest concurrently.

This won't be another SEO contest, of course. It might be a new member referral contest.

Translation Script

Eric is currently working on the next release of the translation script.

Google's recent change broke every translation script in existence.

Freebies

I've asked Tom to post some more free PLR content.

I'm looking into other freebies which we can offer.

Anyone have some new ideas?

Marketplace

Other than the member numbers, I feel that this is our biggest area of weakness. Unfortunately, the success of the Marketplace is dependent upon our gaining larger member numbers.

Good Threads and Posts

Overall, I believe that our thread and post quality is awesome.

I've asked Melissa to post more videos, but anyone can post videos by using the YouTube and Vimeo icons in the post editor.

Karl is working on a new content project which I think will blow everyones socks off. It may be a bit of time until that project is ready though.

That all being said, what do you think? How can we make this a better community for everyone here?

Also, the referral contest sounds good too.

And I'm planning to do something webmaster related in the future. It might bring few more users to this forum. Also, I'm planning to do some videos to promote NB.

But keep in mind, that few of my projects have been on planning stage for months. (Just because I'm busy lazy. )
