Why is there no Freebies forum in the Marketplace?

The Marketplace section is divided by type of product or service, not by cost. So, free themes go into the "Themes" forum, free services go into the "Services" forum, etc...

We're trying to avoid a never-ending series of arguments over what does and what does not qualify as "free".

If we added a Freebies section, it would start a continual war about what did or did not count as "free."

We've seen that contribute to the failure of other forums and we don't want that to happen here.

In addition, we would have to set up a truly silly number of forums under the free forum:
    • Free Services
    • Free Domains
    • Free Sites
    • Free Content
    • Free Themes
    • Free Scripts
    • Free Advertising
    • Free Links
    • Free Hosting
    • Free Contests

Will I am agree with you but I have one idea . Cant we do something by which users can check only desired thread . Like I want to buy some articles and for that I have to check all content section which contains WTS , FREE WTT , WTB . If we can make any button or option buy which we can check only WTS threads in that section than it will be easy to surf and check everything .

Like I visited content section and selected WTS option than I will only see WTS thread where users want to sell articles . I hope this is fine option .

It is just my thinking and if it is wrong than I am really sorry for that .

True, some sort of filter would be an amazing addition to the board!

Yes buddy if in future we get system like this one than we can save good time and surf forum easily to . Right now you have to search 3 to 4 page if you want to buy anything because everything is mixed up but if this filter is added than everything can be done easily .

    Here's how it currently works:
    1. Go to the Marketplace.
    2. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen.
    3. Look to the left.
    4. Check the Prefix drop-down menu.
    5. Click the prefix that you're looking for.
    6. Click the <Show Threads> button.

All that search option does is to append an extra argument to the end of the URL. For example, &prefixid=WTS, is appended if you search for WTS threads.

It may be possible to add links or buttons with those searches pre-built.

I'll add that to my list of things to look into or anyone else can look into it if they wish.

I agree with you. The "Freebie" forum will cause problems. If we have a "Freebie" forum then some users might say, "Can we have "Services" sub-forum for Freebies forum?".

    Here's how it currently works:...
Thanks! That will sure come in handy.
