Thread: Do You Submit To Article Directories?

It looks like I'm going to have to check out writing articles for some niche areas! Thanks for the advice!

My experience has been exactly what Swastik says find keywords with high searches and low competition. In the last year I have been using Market Samurai to find the keywords. I then write an article with the keyword in the title, first sentence of the first paragraph then try and use it 3-4 more times. Rate now I am testing article directories. Traffic seems to only come from ezinearticles, but the backlinks from the other high PR directories seem to help

A slightly off topic question...

How's Market Samurai? I was thinking of buying it... but heard it was a lil' buggy.

I already use Micro Niche Finder tho.

never used micro niche finder, but enjoy market samurai, easy to use and I mainly use it to search for high search low competition words, so don't really have anything to compare it to plus I only paid $67 for it so I was ok with that knowing it was in developement

I used to submit many articles to article directories, but their sites have declined in value since then. Now I just focus more on the content of my site.

I write for article directories. It has been quite beneficial for me. Generally I charge a little amount for manual article writing and submissions. For 500 words unique content writing and submission I get around $10, which is quite cheap compared to several other service providers. As we all know unique contents are much more beneficial than spun contents. So I mostly prefer to use unique and manually written contents. Most of my clients also prefer that.

Hmm... Swastik, what methos do you use to add emphasis on your keywords? As for me, I put them in bold but I would like to have opinions from different people.
