    Yeah, I know that is possible. But try getting on the first page of Google in one day for a search phrase that someone actually uses in a search.

    Happens all the time for me.

    Now for very competitive search terms. I may end up on page 2 to page 6.

    It is getting harder to find forums in some industries that are not nofollow. For example, there is a list of travel forums in NB that supposedly allow sig links. I checked them out and and almost every one has gone nofollow or no longer allows signature links.

    It looks like a lot of industries are getting tired of the spammers and are taking drastic measures to discourage them.
    You can have it fast, good or cheap. Pick any two.

    Even some of the Web 2.0 sites like Livejournal are now "nofollow".
