Theres nothing I would like to do more than test the efficacy of various SEO methods, but time management and resources are always a problem, especially in setting up 'controlled' conditions.

To be completely honest, I don't think many people could say for sure which methods work best - I definitely couldn't.

This is not great to hear as I'm putting together a good blog commenting list.

I'm going to test my list out on a brand new site in the next few weeks and see how it goes.

We already new the answer here but, I thought there would be a larger impact if a professional said it.

I've been doing dofollow blog commenting for one of my blogs since the last 6 months. All are high PR links, as far as Google is concerned my site seems to be still in the sandbox but is ranked very well on Google images.

As far as bing is concerned, i'm ranked very high for 'ALL' of my targeted keywords. Even for highly competitive ones like 'Seo Tips', i'm on the second page(1st page last week) on Bing.
So it looks like, High PR dofollow blog commenting is highly effective on Bing, i can't make a statement about its effects on Google as of yet.

NO.. Google doesn't ignore the blog comment links rather they are dofollow. You had a great experience but it might had some problem with those links you have listed on blogs. It might be not indexed or might be not relevant to your keyword.

I have done this many time and it really effects even you should also do nofollow blog commenting if it is 100% relevant to your website.
