Aged domains with PR - Want to put up a blog

I picked up some interesting domains on TDNAM earlier this year. I parked and forgot about them. I checked up on them today and found that I have 4 domains, ranging from creation date of '97 to '01, with PR from 1 to 2. I'd like to make something of these, and think a blog on them built for purposes of promoting misc sites would be a good idea.

But where to go from here...Anyone have any thoughts on this? I just don't know where to start. I can handle setting up the actual software and themes and stuff, but just not sure where to go with content. I have about 7 difference C class ranges on a server of mine that I could use as well.

Just looking for suggestions on what I could put on these. Maybe I could just call the blogs <domain name> and just start posting random stuff on them and see where it goes?

The idea is to capture whatever authority/trust the domains still have. In order to do this, you should research the domains on the waybackmachine. You should then align the new site with the old niche and content.

I've done this with a '01 domain that I picked up for registration fee. The site is ranking for the the targeted keywords with minimal link building.

For content, you should be able to find writers in the NetBuilders marketplace that produce articles at good rates.

I did that with around 10 PR4-5 sites.

After about a year, six still have PR.

I gave the Wordpress admin passwords to a few friends and the blogs have been spammed to hell. But, I tested recently and the blogs are still passing relevance.
