    Anyone tried Joomla?

    Hi,

Anyone have any experience with Joomla? How is it?
    Better than WordPress?

    I have never tried it.

    Cheers!

He's rite. in here many and many book publisher publish book about JOOMLA.
if you wanna do for something like personal blog. think it's better if you use wordpress, for me to think joomla is good for someone who want to make something like community site / information site..
but if you insist of using joomla for your blogging site. think you should customize more on the themes..

Well if you use joomla then you should find a hosting (or maybe free hosting) because you have to manage the control panel well. But sure joomla is more interesting then blogger.com or WP.com. I've made one site with joomla once but since it hosted on free hosting it run slow (and I need book to guide me everytime I log in into the control panel) he he he

    Same here.

Plus the fact that I've always used WP so it's almost become like a second nature to me. The one time I used Joomla I realised it wasn't for me, as WP is just so much simpler to use. Plus the fact it's really easy to install new themes/plugins as there are so many out there.
