Are you a member of Blog Catalog? Any success with it?

is this a site like technorati?
I'm not joined BC but join technorati.
I think BC is good blog community since i find the PR is high (PR6) and there is already have a lot of member.

Funnily enough, i actually signed up on BC yesterday due to a post by MelvinBlog about it. That said, I must admit I'm not 100% sure what BC is all about. How do you monetise it? Is it like a directory, or a social networking site? Any help would be appreciated

from the look, i think it's a site like a digg, you can bookmark a blog site page and share it with the other. So, i think it's same like a technorati. But from my experience, it's not too effective (experience in using service like this --> digg and technorati)

Oh I already heard about this site. For those who were asking, it is only a 'personnal' directory, meaning that you can (and have to) add your bio and then your blog(s).

I will surely suscribe on my new project will be on the road.

And the main purpose of this kind of site is, hope that member will click your blog which bookmarked by you. So, the main purpose is TRAFFIC
But we also can make a friend here, made friend to exchange comments
