Hi,
Do you measure a blog's success with its feed count?
Many buyers give it great importance, so I want to know what you guys think.
Thanks

I don't. The kiwidia blogs haven't even hit double digits for RSS subscribers but I'd say they're pretty successful.
well i dont think so.. I have almost 2k counts but numbers hardly matter.. its the blog content quality that does![]()
I don't measure a blogs success with its feed count. I see number of comments (excluding the post author's) as a good measure.
Money is the best way to measure the success of your blog. The revenue for ppc, banners ads, freelance jobs or leads for your business are all measures that put a value on your efforts.
If my adsense CTR rate and Cpc revenue is increasing and providing good earning than I think my blog is popular . Because what ever I earn right now I spend to get more quality stuff from it and publish it on my blog .

Feed counts are silly to be honest. While they ARE great, I never use them, and my friends don't use them. I never subscribe to them either. And some people manipulate their stats like that too, so you never know if its genuine. Blog success is determined by the money you make, I think. At least if your GOAL is to earn money. If your goal is to just be a blog without earning anything, then you can say that the success is determined by feed count, subscribers, comments, etc.
