Hi,

Do you reply to all the comments on your blog?

I reply to all as I believe that if the read has taken out his/her time to comment on my blog so it is the least I can do by returning the comment and thank him/her.

Yup i reply to all the comments. Its a good way to interact with the blog readers and show that we listen to what they say and solve their problems.

Also it adds more comments the the post.

I reply, but I tend to stay away from just saying "thanks" to people, because it's kind of spammy.

When I get a good comment from someone who actually took time to write it out, then I will reply back a lot. Less effort from them means less on mind to write a decent reply.

I try to. It creates return-visitors.

I am not into blogging but I am more into proper websites.

But when i comment on blogs and the author replies back, it is really nice.

Good advice, you don't want to get caught bumping your own stuff for no real good reason.

I follow the same principle, but I always welcome first time visitors.

No, I do reply because I do not allow comments on my blog post. My blog is a portal to my forum. So if someone wants to comment on my blog post, they will find a link at the bottom of the post going to a forum section where they can post their comments.

Yes, I always respond to comments on my blog. I specially like the threaded comments for this reason. I want to get 'author comment' kind of thing on my comments, any plug-ins for that?
