Thread: Is it easy to get rich blogging?

Much of blogging is about following your passion. Do most people get rich by following their passion with their blog?

If you are going to be consistent posting it has to be something you are passionate about or you wont last long.

Depends on how you define "rich". It's not necessarily the same for everyone. That said, it's probably not "easy" because it is gonna be quite a challenge that requires a lot of effort. That said, if you're passionate about it and love doing it regardless of monetary reward it's gonna be a challenge that will be fun and enjoyable for you to take on. In short, not easy, but fun.

Yeah that's true, how rich someone is depends on how rich they already are. In other words, it's all relevant.

Yes.Its possible . look out the problogger,copyblogger, labnol and thousands of succesful bloggers who became rich on the same way.

But you can not expect the results in a day. but practicing the success strategies makes everyone can.

I think "easy" and "rich" only go together for about 1% or less of the bloggers out there.
For the rest, it is hard work, and very few get rich.
And you are right to be passionate about what you blog about, as you're more likely to stick to it, but whether what you are passionate about has any potential to make you rich... well, that depends...
I know that the toad jokes field doesn't seem to be very financially lucrative.

It's definitely possible, if you have a few things:
- the ability to write unique content
- content that other people find useful.

The monetization part is fairly easy. It's the content creation, having something to offer, that is more difficult.

My finding is this:
The rich do not waste time by posting or even going to forums, message boards, etc. that are not for the rich.
So if there are rich bloggers, they are not wasting their time here.

This is so true. "Me too" blogs posting the lastest news that 1000s of blogs have already covered isn't going to get you to square one.

might be if you have the consistency! monetizing you blog will surely give of what you want if you have good niches to be admire by your readers.
