Japan's tourism agency plans to open a website to give away 10,000 free round-trip tickets to Japan.

The requirement is that you need to publicize your trip on blogs and social media sites.

I just might sign up for that. I spent a lot of time in Japan in the 1980s and 1990s. It is one of my favorite places.

They should be giving away free radiation detectors to show that trips to the major cities are safe. That would get them some good press.
