Thread: Future Of Blogging?

Hmm after i think about it, yes all will die it. Just like facebook right now. It's become more easy to people to write something, their story, tutorial, sharing something, etc using facebook. For me, i feel it's more quickly to share something via facebook than blog.

and yes, facebook will die out also . It's normal, law of nature is excist on internet business, the most stronger and better will win. Do you know friendster 2-3 years ago is so booming (i don't know the case on your country), now FS is beat by FB

So your statement was to be changed. It's the site that adjust to the changes on the Internet that survive. Tell that to your clients :P

Good point Gaya, I was gonna make the exact same point.

The thing is, Akira, trends come and go. Usually the trends will pop up out of no where, take everyone by surprise with their popularity and, because everyone's using it, more people will then sign up. Then, after a year or so, another trend will pop up and the same thing will happen. The internet is changing so quickly it's ridiculous.

It's almost scary! Imagine where we will be in 3 years... I often think about that, since I've been working professionally for 3 years and there has been so many changes! ADAPT PEOPLE! ADAPT

Yeah. Twitter is growing rapidly. #FollowFriday is "dead". More services are being created. Don't know which will be successful. Google took over Yahoo in Alexa this year. MSN.com was #2 in Alexa in 2005.

Yeah, internet world is change so fast. Just need 1 year for facebook to replace friendster trend on my country. About future of blogging, ok i have change my opinion, i think it's unpredictable because it's depend on the blog platform company (blogspot, wordpress, etc..) action to face the trend change

I believe Wordpress will be one of the first to react to change. They have a rather large community and it's used a lot by a lot of people.
But still... they have a big chance to fall down too, as for all companies.

But don't forget that blogspot is hold by Google. Google have fund power to develop great system. And if you think, why blogspot is beaten by wordpress then? Maybe google is in prepared something :P
And maybe this google plan is the one who will make the future of blogging is so unpredictable

Maybe Google will buy wordpress then.Then they will become the giants of blogging!!

But we know google is own blogspot, which become the main competitor of wordpress. I think it's not easy for google to decide will buy WP or no. 2 competitor become one is so interesting, and there will definitely no meaningfull competitor for it.

I think in the future, blogging with text become not popular. People will blogging using audio and video
